A and E Construction holds a Basic Ordering Agreement with the DC Department of General Services (DCAM-22-CS-RFQ-0016) for repair, renovation, and general facility work. We are an active vendor with DC Public Schools, the District Department of Transportation, the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, Events DC, the DC Public Library, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the Department of Health Care Finance, and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. How We Minimize Operational Disruption
Phased Execution
For occupied hotels, we phase work by floor, by wing, or by room cluster so that revenue inventory remains available throughout. We coordinate room blocks with hotel revenue-management and housekeeping teams before mobilization.
After-Hours and Off-Season Windows
School cafeterias, agency lobbies, and public buildings often require evening, weekend, or seasonal-break work windows. We schedule and price accordingly.
Dust, Noise, and Path-of-Travel Controls
Negative-pressure containment, HEPA filtration, and rigid path-of-travel separation are standard on occupied-renovation projects. Guests, students, and staff use the building as we work.
Daily Reporting
Yodie Narain delivers daily progress and look-ahead reports to facility managers throughout the work window. There are no surprises.
