Quick-Service Capabilities
Our emergency-repair desk is staffed by senior project managers who can dispatch crews across the District and into Maryland on short notice. We carry our own field tools, vehicles, and trade resources, and we maintain standing relationships with the licensed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and abatement subcontractors required for full-spectrum emergency response.

How Our Rapid-Response Process Works
Call and Triage
Call (202) 746-0659. A senior project manager — typically Eric Persaud or Yodie Narain — takes the call directly. We confirm the address, the nature of the emergency, and the access window. For active life-safety conditions we dispatch a field team immediately; for non-life-safety emergencies we typically arrive on site the same day or the following morning.
On-Site Assessment
Our project manager walks the site with you, photographs the damage, and identifies the immediate stabilization required, the permanent scope of repair, and any code or ADA conditions that must be brought into compliance during the repair. You receive a written scope and a not-to-exceed estimate before work proceeds beyond stabilization.
Stabilize
We perform the immediate work required to stop further damage — water shut-off, tarping, board-up, electrical isolation, temporary railings, or whatever the condition demands. For hotel and facility clients, we stabilize and clear the affected area for return to service as quickly as the condition permits.
Permanent Repair
Once the site is stable, we execute the permanent repair under a written scope. For projects that require permits, we coordinate with the District's Department of Buildings or the relevant Maryland jurisdiction and, where appropriate, engage Shelton Group CS for permit expediting. For projects involving abatement, structural engineering, or MEP design, we engage our standing partners D3 Architecture, A&A Structures, and AEK Engineering.
Close-Out
Final walk-through, punch list, and warranty turnover. A and E Construction stands behind every emergency repair with a written workmanship warranty.
